Dharmic (“Hindu”) Scriptures in Sanskrit with English translation in 3
formats: 1) Online (in HTML) 2) Downloadable (as PDF files) 3) Purchasable in hardcopy (from this and/or other websites) The goal is to gather up and organize all Dharmic Scriptures and Literature in order to create a ‘certified’ Dharmic Encyclopedia that should then be available in hard copy at every major Hindu Temple around the world. Dharmic Scriptures List:
'The Vedas' (All 4 in one doc): Click on the icon to download
(1.55MB): When unzipped, this is 6.4MB and roughly 950 pages. This is an indexed MS Word document containing the English text of all 4 Vedas. It is based on the old British translations done over 100 years ago and is thus inaccurate and incomplete. The Dharmic Scriptures team (with the help of many others) will be adding to this document over the coming months and years to build it up to the point where it is the most complete book of the Vedas in the world. In this process, where possible, we will also obtain the help of qualified Sanskritists to retranslate verses in a more technically correct manner (i.e., within the Indic/Dharmic traditions).
